Our History

Picture
We are a nonprofit membership corporation dedicated to improving the status of victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.  Kodiak Women's Resource and Crisis Center began in 1976 as a women’s discussion group.  It has grown immensely since its founding to provide a voice and answer the needs of the Kodiak and its surrounding communities.  The dedication and support of many Kodiak Citizens make our existence possible.
